Hello
I have PCOS and a retroverted uterus. I am pretty sure they are not related but I was wondering, if by having both will I have more difficulties in TTC? or any other difficulties I might encounter in general, any help???

Hi Miss Lubby,

If you mean a tipped uterus (basically a backwards one) then yeah, I have one too. Mom had one, but she went on to have three of us kids. And I had an OB/GYN nurse who also has the same condition but also had three children. They didn't mention any problems in conceiving. Well, I should say, Mom was worried she wouldn't have any kids but we came along without her needing any help.

Some other cysters may have the same condition and let you know what their experience was like. I hope that helps!

Hi,
thanks for the reply, yeah my mom and sister both have retroverted (backwards or tipped) as well. My mom did have 5 kids as well, but she also didnt have PCOS

Hi, I am 33 and also have a retroverted uterus but it does not prevent you from having children. I have also been diagnosed with PCOS by a fertility specialist, don't have any symptoms except for polycystic ovaries and infertility. This is my second week on met and not liking it!!!! I have started on 500mg but will increase gradually until I reach 1500mg. I am longing to conceive my first child. Wish you all the best and don't give up hope.
