Well try not to stress, because it isn't good for you and your baby. Have you tried waxing? That might last longer? Congrats on baby and wedding!

I use a women's electric razor every morning. I don't get the red bumps and you don't have to wait for the hair to grow out for waxing (although I have done that before long vacations and such).
First off congratulations. I understand that you are worried about the hair now but I doubt you will be when it's time for you to get married. Remind yourself of your priorities. You are getting ready to spend the rest of your life with the man you love and who loves you. You are getting ready to bring the most precious gift into this world. You are getting a partner in life to share all your triumphs and joys with and someone to lean on when you need it. Compared to all that what's a little hair?
I use a high end Norelco mens electric razor and it works great.
I wish you all the joy and happiness not only on your wedding day but for all the days to come.

Heya Laura! I'm sorry that PCOS is wrecking things. I personally wax and find it to be very effective. I really only have to wax like every two weeks or so, probably less often for others but I try to do it as early as I can. There is also some wax that you can buy where you don't have to wait (I'm not sure the exact name but it doesn't require cloth strips). You could also try the hair minimizing lotions which I'm yet to try myself. I hope that your wedding goes well! Congratulations!

I felt the same way, I waxed 3 days before my wedding, but I suggest you start waxing now so your skin can get use to it. Also exfoliate every day so you wont get red bumps or ingrown hairs. I started about 6 weeks before my wedding. Surgi-wax doest need strips. I lasts about 2 weeks, i also use jergens minimizing loion which takes about 4-6 weeks tobe effective, it has slowed the growth a bit, but makes waxing easier, and the hair is finer ten before.
Just remember that this is the happiest time of your life and things like hair shouldn't ruin your day. I freaked out about 10 weeks before the wedding about my apperance, and wanted to keep the vail over my face the whole day, but I decided to do something about it.

I don't have much to add, other than something I've always noticed about myself: I know the hair is there long before others people can see it. When I notice it, I usually check a mirror, and can't see anything. And the hair doesn't show up in pictures, even when I am sure they will. So the moral is, remember, people won't notice as much as you will, and you can let it go and have a great day and still look and feel fabulous.
