PCOS saavy gyno in San Diego area

Hello,
My employer just changed insurance, AGAIN, and I'm going from Kaiser to a PPO - which is kinda sad because my Kaiser doc was pretty good (Dr. Yoo in Point Loma - he's AWESOME!!!!). But kinda cool too because I really get to pick a doctor - just about every doctor in the county is in my new insurance plan.
I've got an RE that I will be seeing for IVF once we've saved up enough - so that's covered. What I really need is a ob/gyno who will be receptive to accepting that I have PCOS (I'm thin, not TOO hairy, and not a lot of symptoms besides the LH/FSH ratio being goofy) and help keep me on metformin, which is finally working to regulate my cycles! I'd also like the doctor to be supportive to me after I get pregnant, and have the knowledge to manage a PCO pregnancy, breastfeeding, etc.
Am I asking too much? Anyone know anybody in the San Diego area who fits those criteria? I'm in north county, but am willing to drive to SD to see the right person.

Did you ever find a doctor? I am looking for one in San Diego too. I need a good doctor -- I am paying out of pocket with no insurance. I'm looking for someone friendly.

Hey, see my posts... I have seen two different DR's in San Diego that are PCOS friendly. Dr Tajran is a good GYNO... if you are going to be wanting treatment for infertility see Dr Musinski instead since Dr Tajran was not that helpful for me once I started trying to conceive, but she was a good Dr.
