PCOS Specialist: Atlanta

Hi- I am new to the forum and recently diagnosed by my GP with PCOS. I have 4 children here and 4 angel-babies. No one seemed to know what was causing my losses and now the diagnosis of PCOS follows the last loss by 3years. I am frustrated and sad. I would like to find a doctor that really specializes in PCOS and infertility. I lost 3 of my 4 baby boys in the 2nd trimester so I don't know if that is PCOS or not- because I didn't have a problem becoming preg. just sustaining the pregnancy. If anyone knows of an excellent PCOS Doctor in the Atlanta Area- (I will drive as far as I need to to see a great physician.) I am looking for someone with the knowledge as well as need someone that is sensitive to the pregnancy losses and my weight issue- I started out at 128 and now I am close to 200-- I don't know what I have done different either other than being overcome with depression. I am still trying to figure this all out but my first step is to need to find a doctor asap before I lose my mind (dh and 3teenage boys say that's already happened) I am an emotional roller-coaster. Sorry to hear about your losses, I do know how you feel. When you are confortable with your body and how it works and then things take a change for the worst it seems. Well my dr. is wonderful. His name is Dr. Michael McDaniel and he works at The Peachtree Women's Clinic near Northside Hospital. I hope this helps.

If you haven't already found someone, I second mswilliams. I have been seeing him for a little over two years now, and he is AMAZING!
