Hi Ginger,
UT Southwestern Medical Center on Harry Hines, next to ParkLand Hospital. I'm a patient of Dr. Ellen Wilson, a reproductive endocrinologist/ ob/gyn. She listens & have a non-abrupt manner, unlike most doctors in the medical field. I'm not ttc currently, but she's cool. I don't have the ph, but she's on the 3rd or 4th floor of the James A(something) building. Call the directory. Good luck in finding a great physician.
Later Days,
Linda S.

Default I see an endocrinoligist

At Harris Methodist Fort Worth. His name is Dr. Kenneth Mair and he is with DIabetes and Endocrine Associates. He is excellent. I started seeing him almost 4 years ago when my symptoms went crazy and I was determined to feel normal again. This last checkup, I think he thought he had performed a miracle. I have lost about 45 lbs with diet and exercise and am maintaining a healthy weight of 111 for my 5'0 frame. He let me dose myself with the Glucophage XR for the first couple of years (i took four pills and am now taking 2). I have good control of my diet and exercise routine and also take Yasmin BCP to keep my ovaries from doing their "natural" thing which for me was causing terrible cysts. Call him. You will have a wait to see him but he is worth the wait! A listening doctor is a GOOD doctor!

Dr. H. Jane Chihal in Carrollton. She was my doc for five years before I moved to California. Now that I'm back, I will go back to her as soon as I have insurance squared away. She's very compassionate, very up-to-date, and her office staff is fantastic.

Thumbs up A Great RE at Baylor Grapevine

I see a GREAT Dr. at Baylor in Grapevine. His name is Dr. Henry Prost. He has followed everything that people say in the post. Dr. Prost really takes his time with his patients to listen and talk to them. After each meeting in the room, he talks to you in his office. I really like that. Also, Dr. Prost is always very positive!!! I think that is really a must when dealing with women with PCOS.

If you need a great OB/GYN, I would also highly recommend Dr. Angelo Mendez at Baylor Grapevine. GREAT Doctor!!!
