    Default PCOS Specialist in Tidewater/Hampton Roads

    Does anyone know of a good, PCOS knowledgeable doctor in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area of Virginia? I am newly diagnosed with PCOS and I'm so overwhlemed with information. I don't even know where to start with changing my diet and my life for PCOS. I need some good medical advice. Also, I need to know if I'm IR. How do I find that out?

    Default Also in Hampton Roads

    Hi Kim,

    I live in Chesapeake - I have not been officially "diagnosed" by anyone yet, my gynocologist has said she thinks I have PCOS. I don't know of any specialists in the area, but I wonder if there might be anyone affiliated with EVMS? I will try to see what I can find out.

    Are ya'll military wives? If you are I can refer you to a great RE in the area that I see. He is one of the best RE's on the entire eastern seaboard.

    I go to Gyno Jeffrey Morrison with TPMG Group. He has a office in Newport News. I also see a RE in Richmond. I've heard bad things about the 1 in Williamsburg and Newport News. Hope that helps. I also see a reg Endo in Richmond that has a lot of ensite on PCOS...LOL I see everyone it seems All of these Dr's are up on PCOS. Let me know if you need more info.
