I'm going to the hospital tomarrow to get my blood drawn for the genetic study of PCOS, I'm kind of scared but at the same time I'm hopeful that someone will find a cure or something for this syndrome. I can't eat for 10 hours prior to my blood draw I kinda feel proud that I'm helping out the best I can

Well I went to the hospital today and they had to fill 16 tubes with my blood, trust me when I say this, I was very weak. They had a hard time because after a while they had to stick the needle in a few other places due to lack of blood. I sent the samples back to chicago via fed ex they should be there tomarrow morning at 10:30. It wasn't that bad but I was exausted afterwards.

I did that same study in December and they sent me the results back about a month ago and that is the reason that I was diagnosed by my doctor. I was so sick during the blood draw that I was dry heaving. I am glad that there are alot more women out there that are willing to do a good thing and put themselves through that so that we all might get some more answers. I have my first apt with a doctor about treatment tomarrow. I want to say thank you to you and all of the other women that went through that along with myself. It was not easy I know. A big THANK YOU to you and all of the others. Heres hoping that they learn something new.
