Default PCOS symptoms after hysterectomy?

Hello ladies,

I didn't learn of my PCOS until reading my Operative Report after my total hysterectomy 4 weeks ago... boy do so many things now make sense!

Does anyone know whether PCOS symptoms decline/disappear after having your ovaries removed? If so, what is the usual time frame?

Kelly
(Any ladies in the same surgical boat?)

Default Welcome To Soulcysters!!

Try the search funtion here at SC.
I have just made several detailed replies on this subject.

Your hysterectomy will NOT cure PCOS.
It can relieve specific symptoms depending on the type of surgery you had.

Let me know if I can help with specific questions.
Sunday March 19 is my 3 year aniv of my hysterectomy.

Patty
