PCOS symptoms, yeast infection, swelling, etc.

I just wanted to say to you ladies, and I can't stress enough...

Please see a doctor if you think you are having any problems that can be fixed with meds, if you think you have a yeast infectio, if you have been bleeding too long, if you have any problems that you need to look here for.

I recently had enough of trying to self diagnose myself and trying to fix things without seeing a doc. Well, I should have done it long ago, because now I am having to take alot of meds that wouldn't have probably been neccessary had I gone to a doc last year when I first started having some of the problems.

I thought I was just retaining water because of menstral cycles. I thought that the itching was dry skin, because I had no smell, no discharge, nothing to indicate anything other than dry skin.

Well, yesterday I went because I wasn't feeling well and guess what?!?!?! I have very very high BP, so high that I am now taking meds for it, along with one for edema. I just had to spend almost $300 for tests and visit and wish I had done it so much sooner.

This is a great place for advice, but none of us, or at least none that I know of, are doctors. Please go see a doctor. Don't let yourself get into the area I am in. Take care of yourself, after all you are the most important person in your life. I regret not going when I first started having problems and I will regret it for the rest of my life.
