well ths is a very complex issue..
there are many transgendered people who do not have "hormone" imbalances..
they just have a feeling they should be born in a different sex body.
i personally do not feel like a man in a womans body.
i think having a hormonal imbalance vs transgender is very differnt.
with hormone imbalance..( like myself) when my testosterone was VERRRRRRY high...... i wanted sex "like a man" hard, heavy and ALLL THE TIME. but in my mind i related with being a girl..in my thought processes, dressing, habits,,desires.
now.... in transgender...... you identify with male. not like..i am horny like a man lol...but truly just identifying with malehood.
sex and gender is a very differnt thing.
gender is a man made thing. gender is the stereotypes we put on male vs female...example...like girls play with dolls... boys play with trucks..its a societal thing..
in sociology and psychology this year we talked alot about gender identity vs. sex identity ...
i dont have answers for you... i would have to know more of you "feelings" persay...but if you are questioning things... i would definately go to the library or contact transgender associations for information.
if you are not transgendered... but instead hormonally challenged lol ... i know in my case ..the unbearable have to have sex with pillows/apple pie agressive feelings subsided when my testosterone went down.
but i never question my actual body identity.
i hope this has helped..either way ... if its just pcos there is help..and if not ..and you are transgendered... there are alot of people who are too whom i am sure would be able to help you on your journey
