There was a small explanation for people who did not know about PCOS. No help to those who are suffering and how to handle symptoms. All they did was point out how terrible her facial hair was and put her on a diet and strict exercise programme. Showing a photo of a woman's hairy chest was a touch 'look at the freak' for my liking. Maybe I just did not like the presenters. Although the secions on women who suffered from alcohol abuse and brittle bones was far more informative.
Good to see the weight loss thang can be achieved... if you have someone to report to, the pressure of it being shown on TV and your own personal trainer ho hum.

sarah - aww, i am sorry sweetie ive had a look in my tv paper to see if it's repeated - but cant find anything so far. Cant find it on their website, either.
angel - i know, i didnt think it explained anything new, either. Didnt like the photo of the womans chest, either.
eva
I agree with you angel and eva. Too much emphasis on the facial hair. And I felt that at the end they didn't address how/ if her weight loss had helped her PCOS. I don't think they gave enough information about it. A bit disappointing really as it could have helped loads of people who have it or know people who have PCOS.
