Hi I am a member of Diabetes UK as part of my job- just had a letter from them saying they are setting up a new part of Diabetes UK called PCOS UK. There is going to be conferences etc- it says the aim of PCOS UK is to raise awareness of PCOS, its diagnosis and management across primary and secondary care across the UK.
Anyway, I think it is mainly for healthcare professionals as the conferences cost £135 to go to and my work wouldnt pay for me to go!! Sounds like they are trying to get more health professionals aware of PCOS etc!
