PCOS Veteran, Clomid Newbie - How long does it usually take to O?

I just started the whole clomid thing recently. I had an HSG this past Friday and everything is clear. I started taking 100mg of clomid on 2/25/06. i was instructed by me RE to start OPK yesterday. I'm a little discouraged as i've had no O yet (maybe i'm just a little impatient

). I'm sure it varies, but about how long does it usually take before you O after clomid? How long should I wait before i throw in the towel with this cycle and tell them it didn't work?

I O'd 1-2 days after my trigger shot. Which was CD 18&19.

Anastasia~~My next cycle will be my first clomid cycle,and my dr told me I should "o" between 5/9 days..sorry I could'nt be more help..Kim

kimberly ~~ my best guess is if you don't "o" 9 days after taking your last pill,maybe you are'nt gonna?;( are you on 50 mg? maybe you can see about upping your dose to 100-150mg? Just trying to help..Hang in there...Kim

Well, I'm on CD 20 and No O after the clomid

When you talk about a trigger shot, what do you mean?
Also, does anyone know if it's possible that clomid will work for you even if it doesn't on the first time out?

*sigh*

Hi I am hoping I O'ed if I get 1 more high temp I get my coverline (check out my chart link is at the bottom of my siggy)

Hi anastasia~~I'm not sure about the trigger shot,,but I think the clomid can still work..I've noticed some cysters have used it and had no "o" for a few cycles and then they "o" so I guess it's possible..hang in there..Kim
