Here's a little update from me:

March 2007 191 pounds

July 2007 168 pounds

I don't know why the first ones are still huge, I thought I resized those... Anyway, next set of progress pics, I swear I will have shoes on, lol! I think the next set of pics just may be my goal pics!!!

Has anyone here tried or heard about the Detoxykall program? My cousin and I are going to order it and try it but I just wanted to know if anyone has tried it and had any success with it... so PLZ let me know... I really appreciate it. Thanks Guys & Way to go on your goals!!

Emma~ As a nutritionist, I would love to know how you tell people to handle
their cravings. That is my biggest downfall. I was on the Diabetes Association diet before getting pg with DS and lost about 15 lbs. in only 3 months, but I just can't seem to eat right anymore :? I have so much stress and I'm ttc again, but I just can't seem to lose weight. I would gladly take any suggestions!!!

Wow, way to go Vanessa and Nicky!!! You can really see the difference between the before and after shots. You two look fantastic! You're motivating me to continue to follow my healthy eating pattern and regular exercise routine. Please tell me what exercise routine you two are following, because it's definitely working!!! Congrats!

Hey girls! I know I've found this post kind of late in the game, but I've found it to be both amazing and encouraging! You girls are looking mighty darn fine if I may say so myself! It's very inspiring to see women taking control of their bodies and PCOS with diet and exercise.

Kimmy, your story has been particularly interesting to me because I too was between 220-230lbs at my highest weight and am also 22. I would like to get down to about 140 if possible, and seeing you go from about the same weight I once was to 135 has been very empowering. I'm now at about 165 but surely haven't given up in my battle of the buldge! In order to shed the pounds my diet and exercise routine is almost the exact same as yours! I think we should call it the K PCOS diet! (My name is Kelly.) Lol

I would love to upload my before and after pics, but I'm just not sure how to do so.

Keep up the great work girls! You are all beautiful superwomen!!!!

Thank you for the compliment! I've been at a plateau for a few weeks and even gained a few pounds when I went home for two weeks. Haven't lost site of my goal and slowly but surely I'm getting back to EXACTLY what I need to be doing in terms of diet and exercise.

I opened a photobucket account but am new to this whole posting photos thing. I'm trying to post before and after pics. The before pics are from about 2 years ago. I was about 215 there. The after pics are both from April, at about 175lbs (about 10lbs heavier than I am now). Hope this upload works!

WOW! You ladies have totally inspired me!! I've been slowly working at losing weight and since my dx of PCOS and taking Metformin I've lost 11 pounds. I still have a ways to go of my ultimate goal weight of 145/150lbs. I am currently at 187lbs and have decided to make mini goals and see how that works rather than focussing on how much more I need to lose to get to my ultimate goal. I'm following the GI Diet (in all honesty about 90% of the time) and struggling with exercise. I'm going to have to read this thread daily to stay motivated!

You ALL look so gorgeous!!! I hope to put up before and after pics before 2007 is over!!!

The backs of my arms look way smaller, huh? I think that's where a big part of that 20 pounds (difference in pics) left from. I hope the next 20 comes out of my gut and abdomen!

Thank you for the compliment too! I totally agree that before and after pics are totally motivational, and I also agree that your arms look smaller too! Isn't it so nice to wear sleeveless/capsleeve shirts and have "normal" looking arms? When I went home for my summer break, I was wearing a tank top, and my mom commented on how good it must feel that I can wear shirts like that! I hadn't worn sleeveless tops without a sweater/shirt over them since I can remember!

Also, do any of you girls sometimes still feel like you're the size you used to be even though you've lost a great deal of weight? I know it sounds wierd, but sometimes I feel like I'm still a size 16 even though I'm a 10/12. There are days I feel GREAT and can't believe some of my tops are mediums, but other days, I feel like I'm bigger than I am. Just wondering if anyone feels the same way!

My mind is way warped as far as my actual size vs. what I think.... I still think I'm GIGANTIC but my size 12's are falling off of my butt. There's a major head trip happening with me.
Most days I can't believe it. I guess I'm going to have to get used to it because I don't plan on putting the weight back on, lol!
