PCOS and Your Fertility

I just read the book, PCOS and Your Fertility, and I am wondering if others have read it, and what they thought?

Would you say this is a reliable text?

I ask because I had heard that women with PCOS were more likely to miscarry--and then when I asked my reproductive endocrinologist about this, he said that wasnt true--that research trials were not able to accurately prove this because the woman in the study with PCOS, having PCOS and TTC, were more likely to know earlier that they were pregnant, and thus know that they had miscarried, than the general population.

The book reported women with PCOS are more likely to miscarry.

So, which is true? Who can I trust?

I have read this book. I thought it was okay, but not spectacular.
As for the miscarriage thing, all the research I've done has indicated that women with PCOS do have more miscarriages. What your Dr. said might have some validity, but I think that most women these days who are actively TTC do know early because of HPTs, as opposed to even a few years ago, when women would have to get a blood test from their Dr. to find out if they were pregnant, so they missed a lot of really early miscarriages.
From what I can understand, the reason women with PCOS have more miscarriages is because their eggs might not be as good quality, because of the hormonal differences.
