Points: 920.34 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 920.34 | I am thin now (111 lbs and 5'5") but when I was 170 lbs I was very much apple shaped. It kinda worked to my advantage though because I could wear baggy tops and tighter bottoms and people had no idea how big I was. When I put on weight it goes right to my middle and I have no butt, no matter what weight I am. |

I'm an apple shape. Pears and hourglasses you guys look soo good in your clothes esp pears! (not to mention you just look amazing in pictures/not fat but sexy) if I suck in my stomach real tight I can pretend I'm a hourglass for a few seconds

Guess I could have simply said "I'm pear-shaped" ... lol

Thanks for participating! | I dunno what I should vote. From the front I have a wonderful hour glass figure, it's when I turn side-ways that you can TOTALLY see the fat! Kinda like a basketball connected to a carrot?

My Mood: Points: 2,240.29 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,240.29 | I am a thin cyster 5'6 125lbs, but I definitely have the pear shape, with a lot of cellulite fat on my thighs, and my hips are big with saddle bags. I have an average build, but I definitely don't wear any shorts that aren't capri style. And, I have a small waist. I wonder if it's PCOS or genetics.

I still have a big belly, but my hips/butt/thighs are always bigger. I am diabetic (pretty IR huh?). My mother was apple shaped when she was heavy. Otherwise she was proportionate.

My Mood: Points: 12,051.08 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 12,051.08 | When I am really fit and exercise and eat low gI and healthily, I am thin all over but wouldnt have as much of a indented waist as some girls get, you know the ones who have that beautiful defined waist that men love so much but if i PUT ON weight eg dont eat low gi eat too much and do not exercise it will go straight to waist and tummy, legs and arms and bum and thighs are all smaller.
At the moment I look quite good but still have a bit of a tummy which i need to lose through cardio but once that goes I will look quite good.
My mother has the same pattern but has never been diagnosed with PcOS or ir. but she has always been big around tummy despite being a sports women and eating right and when younger and trying to have me and my twin brother was diagnosed as having " anovuatlion" which is why PCO'S girls are sometimes infertile or take long it simply means you do nto ovulate every month or at all even though you migh get periods, also she nearly had Gestation diabetes when pregnant with twins (My twin and I0) so those things all go hand in hand with insulin resistnace and PCOS... she has since had a hysterectomy in her 50's but I still think she is slightly IR because of her thicker waist, she is only 60kg at 173cm so fit and not overweight but bigger around waist. Her endo still has not diagnosed her but I think she should go on metformin and I think her waist fat would go quickly.
Mine did on met - I had a great result and would reccommend it to anyone with IR. I still have bit to go but I think that will only go with exercise and I have to be even more concious to eat low gi and low carb as that makes such a huge difference. |

I'm an hourglass from the front, I mean, I have a clearly defined waist, but I have a giant pot belly that looks like a mouth. I have an upper stomach and a lower stomach haha. It's been that way since I was a kid. Makes me wonder what it's going to look like if I lose weight...
