To me...this is nasty, and it's making my skin crawl as I type this. A friend of mine has horrible, horrible, horrible acne, and went to a renowned dermatologist where we live..and he told her (get this) to use PEE (out of your body) to go over her face with before she washes it. He told her that pee is steril and isn't contaminated like some cleansers and it doesn't have all those chemicals (now you have to catch it as it comes out in a jar or something)....but since it's a steril thing it eases the irritation of the acne allowing it to heal itself quicker.
Much to my dismay, she has been doing it, and her face is cleared up and she looks really really good.
I'm almost tempted to try it because I have pretty bad acne....but I just can't seem to bring myself to do it....because it just seems so GROSS!!!! |

There has been talk about this on the Mommy board as a way to prevent acne by doing it to newborns. Most everyone there was grossed out as well.

hi
i saw a woman beiing interviewed on tv once, and that's how she cleansed her face. Her skin was lovely. Wouldnt fancy doing it myself, though

ewww! Any composure I gained by ridding myself of the acne would be countered by the fact that I'd be nauseated and vomiting every time I thought of my skin care regimine

I just don't think I'd feel clean (ever) if I did that....and now when my friend hugs me bye I'm like...keep your distance. She just laughs..but it's still gross. | |

I don't think I could ever do that!!! I think I would puke and gag just even tempting to do something like that....GROSS!!!! Does your friend do this every single day or is this something she does now and then?? I just don't see how someone can put pee all over there face. YUCK! | |

Okay, yeah gross...but I'm intrigued. Does she use anything after the pee, like a cleanser? Or just the pee and then rinse with water? How many times a day does she do this? (Can't believe I'm asking this!!)

Wow, I have never heard of this! ewww.... But honestly, my acne has been so bad, I may just try it. Yes, I would like to know if she washes with something else after?? This is my first time I have ever visited this site. I came specificly for answers to my acne! geesshh... didn't think I would come across something like this! ICK! Yes my friend does wash her face after rubbing it with her pee...she uses a Mary Kay face wash after she cleanses with pee and follow the recommended cleaning system.
If I could get over the eww factor myself, I'd be willing to try it, but I just can't get over the eww factor. | |

My jaw dropped like three inches at least after I read the first post in this thread....omg! I am right there with you Eva...I would have to have face smell checks LOL!! I don't think I could bring myself to do it....ew god no.
