I asked her what she uses.. and her answer was... PEE! Yip, pee! She said she catches the first pee of the morning in a bowl, and uses it to rinse her face in the mornings. It does sound rather gross, but she swore by it. She had pimples and when she started using her pee, they all dissapeared....
Weird.

All pee is is water, extracellular waste and extra water-soluable vitamins that your body didn't use. And yes, it is sterile from a HEALTHY person. If you have a UTI, yeast infection or kidney stones or something like that it would be better not to spread that around on your face lol. If there's a bacterial infection in the bladder that would come out in the pee. And it does make more sense (to me at least) to clear up zits using something from your own body instead of chemicals in a bottle.
Hmm I might actually try this. My hormonal acne is weird, before AF and ovulation my face breaks out really bad and gets real oilly but the week after AF my face is completely clear and almost no oil. But I would use pee from later in the day, not the first of the morning because that's the most concentrated.

I couldn't imagine having that on my face. If I did, I would sooner spread pee all over my face in secret than to show my skin looking that bad in public. If it really works, and knowing that I could immediately shower afterward would make it a definite remedy (albeit secret one) for me.
Heck, if it were proven that drinking pee makes you drop a pound a week, I'd probably do that too. Quote: |

Edited to add: However, I also have reoccuring yeast infections, so I wonder if that would make it worse.

My Mood: Points: 367.00 Bank: 1,418.53 Total Points: 1,785.53 | Ok, so I tried it last night. I have to admit that I was gagging the whole time!! LOL But anyways, some of my zits I have had for months now and they were huge and painful. Sorry TMI. I did it last night before bed and used a cleanser after the pee. This morning the swelling has gone down on them and they are less painful and my skin has never felt so smooth!!! I think i may try it again tonight. I will let you know if it can actually make these things disappear. Though i think i will have scars from them since i have had them for so long. And i definitely will not be telling DH about this. It is way to gross! But if it works, hey, I'm game

I am impressed you tried it and that you actually told us about it. Thanks for the info and please keep us posted. I'm pretty sure that half the ladies that claim its completely nasty are just as intrigued with it and would most definitely try it in private without ever telling a soul that they did all the while telling you that its nasty. LOL

We got him from the humanise society and he was under weight he now eats like a horse but always looks thin. I guess thats the part that comes with the Grey Hound blood.

My Mood: Points: 464.40 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 464.40 | urea or uric acid is what is used to help clear up the skin... and it is found in quite a few acne products. proactive uses it in both their wash and clarifying lotion i believe.
in fact, i just check on the wash that i still had left (don't use it any more) and it says: imidazolidinyl urea.
my whiz kid brother says that the imidazolidinyl is most likely used as a presevative.
it looks like if you google it there are A LOT of beauty products, including baby lotion, that come back with it in.

So do you want to use your own pee or an animal's?
Sometimes people say what the majority is saying even if they don't actually think that themselves...

I can't imagine getting read in the morning and then having my husband kiss me on the cheek tho! I'll be curious to see if it works for some of you.
