Default Pee Pals! acne + urine= perfect complexion?

so i thought as a continuation of the pee for acne thread (Pee For Acne??) i'd start a thread for us ACTUALLY using this method so people can talk about it without having people be like "ewww gross." i'm sure there are some "nitty gritty" questions that people don't want to ask on the other thread, so here we go!

my story: i read about this last week and thought i'd give it a go. its working pretty well, i dont have acne that is horrible, just a generally bad complexion and a monster zit on my chin at all times. anyway my skin is a lot smoother, less red, and my zits are nearly gone. i'm pleased but also feel like i'm on a slippery slope to being a completley weird social outcast with pee on her face. ahhh!

Haha, I love the name of this thread. It's nice to know that other people are out there doing this so I don't feel (as) odd when I'm rubbing my face with pee.

I've only been doing it for a few days, and it's looking a LOT better!

I read parts of the other thread about a month ago, but you were right - I didn't want to ask any questions on there. I have tried EVERYTHING else and am now ready to try this. It took a long time to get to the point of wanting to try this and I don't think I'll be telling many people that I, voluntarily, put urine on my face!!
Anyway, my biggest question was how to catch/apply. Is it like getting a clean catch at the dr's office? Wipe a few times first and catch something mid-stream? Or do you just dip the cottonball as you go?
Boy! These are questions I NEVER, EVER expected to be asking anyone!!

Ok, I have been doing this for about 2 months and I will say in all my face is a hell of a lot better looking than it has looked in years. I researched this first and found a website that was all about uses for urine. They suggested that you get a clean plastic or glass jar and fill it with urine. You want at least day old urine. The site says that stale urine is best as long as you keep it in a cool dry place. It lasts up to a week which is perfect. What I do is this, I soak it in a cotton ball and apply to my face, neck and shoulders and let it soak in for 15 minutes then rinse. You can then use a moisturizer or make-up and be done. Its really easy and painless, plus cheap!!!!

Do any of you ladies have cystic acne? If so, does it help with that as well? I'm getting married soon and will pretty much try anything to get rid of my acne! I had to go off my prescription meds because we are not going to be contracepting once we are married. Does the urine have to be a day old to work? I don't think I could explain a random cup of urine sitting out in the bathroom!

Dre, I use a mason jar and keep the lid tight on it. I labeled it "For ______ use only. DO NOT TOUCH!!!"

I do get cystic acne and it has helped lessen it immensely. I get one that pops up on my shoulder in the same place every 2 months and it hasn't started to form since I put the pee on it. I have a scar from that one and it is fading. So all I can say is that if you are willing to try it, just do it.

i catch in a little cup and use twice daily, i dont use stale urine like georgette, but i may work up to that. i catch it midstream so i start peeing, stop, pee into the cup, stop and finish. if there is any bacteria in your urethrea it will get flushed out at the begining. i wipe it on, in the morning i wash it off after it dries, but i just leave it on at night because i dont really care and am alone so its not like someone is kissing my pee face. ew!

anyway as for cystic acne i always have one HUGE cystic pimple on my chin at all times. thats gone since ive been doing this. i got my AF yesterday which usually means break out central and i had nothing! also my blackheads are all gone, my skin is smoother, tighter and less red on the cheeks.

I just wanted to let you ladies know that there are products out there that have Uriea (sp?) listed as one of the first few ingredients in it. Thats is the stuff in pee that is supposed to help clear your skin. So if you are not up for the whole using your own pee (not that there is anything wrong with that) you can look at the ingredient list on products in the store and try them instead.

ewwwwwwwww i cant believe it. I DID IT LAST NIGHT, before i went to bed.
and i dont feel that ewwwww anymore, it is gone. thought it will be very hard to try, but i had a few years roaccutan and it didnt help. so i had nothing to lose.
i asked my brother if he would do something like that and he said: hell yeah, if i would suffer from acne like you i would give a try.
he said it is yours, its your urine, its something that comes out from your own body, so why it needs to be ewwwww. we do much more stuff which is ugly. at this point i said to myself, hes right, i will give a chance.

also this morning i took a cotton ball and put it into my urine (the morning urine) and left it for 5 minutes on my face.

who knows maybe it will work, cause im tired of acne (also hairloss)
