Default Period again. Please help.

I'm really really scared. I've known about my PCOS for a few years now and have taken met for just over a year. My *only* symptoms are minimal...until today.

Today I got my period...again. My last AF was finished last Friday and I began what I thought was spotting last night. This morning I find out it is a full AF.

Last weeks AF was 1 week early and very heavy bleeding, the heaviest I have ever had, but not absolutely horrendous, annd only lasted a few days like my "normal" periods. And here I am with AF again, less than a week later.

I just can't stop crying. I'm so scared that things are starting to go worse and I don't think I can handle that!

Can anyone give me some insight? I really need it.

Thanks.

You are probably just getting whacky hormone levels again and they are at war with eachother...the same thing happened to me about 4 months after i had my child (he was an injection baby so i have severe pcos syptoms but pregnancy regulates things even for awhile afterwards) and my ob said 'its just your ovaries reverting back to pcos... i'll put you on bcps...and the bleeding stopped...regular periods again.

Dont stay home and worry about it...call your doctor and tell them whats happening. Let them decide if you need to do something...if youre bleeding that much you need to get checked out. Keep us posted.

Thank you. I spoke to my endo and they want me to keep a calendar until my next appointment since this is a first for me. They said it may be just an anomaly and won't happen again or it's possible that I had a miscarriage without having known I was pregnant. Either way, they aren't too concerned, so I'm just going to hope my periods go back to normal.
