Period with cramps, gas, burping, bad pain in right side

I have beed taking Metformin for like 5 days or so. I got my period 2 days ago -- by the way, I have regular periods -- bad cramps, bad pain in my right side, can't walk cause of pain, burping, gas.

The pain in my side is so so bad.

Has anyone else experienced this pain while on their period and taking Metformin for PCOS?
