I've been getting period pain for the last 3 weeks that is getting worse day by day and yet still no period.... I've been taking metformin. I had my daughter 11 months ago and had regular periods in December, January and February but havent had one since! Any ideas? Doctors here dont seem very willing to help me. We are TTC #2 and without a period its just not happening!

Same thing is happening to me. I was going to post about it.
I am not currently on meds for PCOS. I havent had a period in 3 months. I have been getting cramps and soreness like my period is coming but it still hasnt. Have you taken a pregnancy test? I am sure you have, I did and mine were negative.
I go to the doctor Thursday so if I get any info I am happy to share it.
Just wanted to let you know you are not alone.
Oh geez I don't know. It seems really irresponsible that your doctor isn't willing to help you at all. I would definitely see another doctor and demand some help. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

1000 mg Metformin, diet, exercise, an amazing husband, and a lot of determination.
i have this problem a lot, when brought up to the doctors they don't really say anything. i was getting af after my last doctor visit, and last month no af, just cramps.
I am brand new here but feel very at home so far! I have a broad range of symptoms, but it's nice to see this one posted! Every month for the past 4 months, I've had 1-2 weeks of "period pains" and yet I haven't had AF since May. At first I was convinced I was pregnant again. 10 pregnancy tests and 3 months later, I'm convinced I'm not pregnant. Every time I get my hopes up that I'll actually get AF any day now, and nothing.

Funnily enough, I posted this on the 10th, the period pains got worse and worse until I could only get rid of them if I was sitting down not moving and then on the 18th I had a 5 day period! I go for a scan on the 4th of November so we will see what happens then!

I have had very distinct pregnancy pains since I started using the natural progesterone cream on Thursday last week. Would be nice to get AF before the 6 month mark next Saturday!
