Default Periods after ectopic

Hi! I'm new to this site but was diagnosed with PCOS app. one year ago. I have been seeing a RE and have had three IUIs. I got pregnant twice but had miscarriages both times. My last mc was the end of March. I had two babies, one in the uterus that wasn't viable and one ectopic in the fallopian tube. I ended up having to have a D&C and losing the fallopian tube when it ruptured and this is my first period after that.

I know my question isn't PCOS specific but I figure ya'll are used to the "typical" pain from cysts around the time of your period. My question is, This time I'm having pain during my period in the area of my right ovary (it was my right tube that I lost). Has anyone else had unusual pain (and a lot of bleeding) following an ectopic?

Thanks,
Heather

I had an etopic about a year ago along with an 8 cm cyst. After my surgery, I did have quite a bit of pain after that and still a year later when I ahve my cycle, they are now much more painful and the flow is much stronger. The really weird thing is, I lost part of one ovary and my fallopian tube but..... I am now getting my cycle every month. Go figure, yeah for PCOS, LOL!!!
