Default Periods but not ovulating on met

I have been on metformin for about 3 months, and i have been getting my periods more or less regularly (about 35 days apart)... However, I have started charting, and it does not seem like I am ovulating. So even though I am getting periods, no ovulation..

Is this possible? And is it bad? Does it mean I could still be at risk of cancer and should take Provera or something like that to have a "proper" period?

Those of you who say that you have gotten your cycle back with Metformin, do you know if you're actually ovulation, or are you simply getting "phanton" periods like me?

Patience, dear. It took me six months to start ovulating again. My period came back right away, and my cycles were a bit longer too, but at least I had a period. I charted and was starting to get frustrated too, but you have to keep in mind it probably took a while to get your hormones all messed up, so it'll be a while to get them all fixed. But the Met certainly worked for me. Check my sig line.

    Good luck!

It cleared my brain fog, brought back af, helped me lose weight, made me o' again, and helped me get pregnant. My first Metformin miracle is now 3 years old, my second (surprise one) arrived December11!
