 Periods suck
Years ago before I started jerking my body around with birth control hormones, (tried about6 diff BCP, Nuva Ring, Depo Provera), and long before PCOS came on, my periods would last 3-4 days and be very light with no bloating or any PMS at all. Seriously, my periods were a dream. Of course, as a teen I did have problems as most do, but things were good for a while. THen PCOS happened and AF went out of wack, a little not a lot, like some of you. It would be a week early or up to 3 weeks late but only for few months before I went to the doc for that and other PCOS Sx.
So, now on Metformin my periods come right on time. My PMS is getting much better and I no longer have ovulation pain/bleeding. But this cycle (my 4th on Met) is driving me bonkers. After 4 days of heavy then light, spotty then medium flow, my period tapered off to a slow spotting yesterday. But, this morning I wake up with heavy flow and clots. I never get clots! Gross.
Don't know why I was so obsessed over making sure AF was on time and freaked about not having it... it is just lame to bleed every month.
Maybe it was that darn lunar eclipse!
