It's one of those names that kind of has to grow on you, but I think it would sound great with Noah & Isaiah! But in the end, you just kind of have to go with what you like.

And two, this is your child, not your moms! If it helps, my MIL is so upset that we're having a boy, telling everyone that it's "Just another dam* boy!" I told her that if she wanted a girl so bad, she should've had more children of her own. (yeah, pregnancy makes me a little more brave than normal) She also hated the name we picked out for our first, Chandler Quinton, but I told her to get over it and that was that. Think about it this way, you're going to be the one saying his name daily, not her. You have to pick what you and dh want. Not to insult your mom in any way, but you should remind her that this is your child, not hers. She had her turn and now it's your turn. As long as you and dh love the name, you should stand your ground!
PS-I love most all Biblical names! My fav is Stephen just b/c it's my favorite story (another way to look at things, do you have a story that's always stuck w/ you??). The only reason we didn't name ds Stephen was b/c it's too common in dh's family and they'd called it Stevie (e To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. My Mom has started to bite her tongue regarding the name thing... I think she realized she went too far & she has backed off, TG.
As for Levi, my hubby is all over it, he says as time goes on he likes it more & more but I feel more & more unsure about it!
I really love Elijah, I wish he'd agree to that. Samuel is my 2nd fav, but b/c our last name starts with "S", I am hesitant. Levi is my 3rd pick I think. Not sure if that has anything to do with my Mom's not-so-encouraging reaction?

At least he'll know ahead of time that he'll be called "jeans" until he's 12 To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. My Mood: Points: 1,982.63 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,982.63 | In my humble opinion, since you asked, I do not like Levi at all - just mean that I would not use it. It is different though, and not over used at all, so if you like it, I say go for it. Someone will have something to say no matter what.
We too love biblical names!
I like the suggestion of Micah, Caleb, Zacharias - but if you both love Levi, go for it.
