Smile pickles

I like dill pickles, and I like them really crunchy.

My question is, what is your favorite brand/kind of pickles?

So far I've just been buying whatever is on sale when we run out, and I kind of like the Cains brand that we got most recently. However, I haven't really been keeping track of what we've gotten in the past and some of these pickles are much better than others. If I want to maximize my crunchy pickle experience, what should I get?

Hi

I love any type of pickle. But I bought some pickled onions with chili pieces in them. They were major hot!! Delicious.

Claussen makes a very crunchy dill pickle. I think they make some of the best bread and butter pickles. I can't eat them anymore though being they have sugar in them. I have been trying German brand pickles lately with onions and stuff in them They are pretty good. Vlassic has a new sugar free bread and butter pickle that is tasty but I prefer the pickles that are found in the refrigerated section. I have tried other Vlassic pickles and found them to be unsatisfying.

I agree the clausen pickles found in refrigerated section in grocery store are the best.

Claussen rules!!!! They are about the only kind I buy. If I can't afford those, I'd rather not have any. The other ones seem so....chewy and mushy after those.

I'm sold! I didn't even know they sold pickles in the refrigerator section-- I will have to do a thorough search next time I'm at the grocery store.

I love pickles too. We've got a brand called Strub's here in Canada that is awesome. You get them from the refrigerated section in the grocery store. Mmmmmm. A little more expensive than the others, but soooo worth it.

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.

I have to put in another vote for Claussen...definitely the best! The closest "jar" pickles to NY deli pickles.
