ive made it as small as i can.. its like 1 inch by 1 inch.. but i noticed i click the browse and find the pic but the only button i ever to see to click next is save changes.. is this hows its supposed to be? or should there be some upload button or somethin
I just tried to upload one as well and it told me it couldn't save it, either. The only thing I can think is that maybe there are still some querks with the site since they've been working on it the last couple of days.

There was another user having the same issue, it must just be a quirk in the system right now.
Are you trying to upload a new avatar picture? or are you looking to add pics to a posting/signature? if a post or a signature, there is a way around it

ok heres th exact steps.. i am trying to upload a pic to where it shows it under my name when i post.. like where the ring is.. i had no problem uploading pics into my album, but when i tried to upload them into my profile picture or avatar it i couldn't tell you the exaact size of the picture but i know i have resized it several different times trying different sizes but it is extremely small. whenever i do click to upload it or wutever it says unable to save image. i also tried using the link off of photobucket and it said it isnt a valid URL, i tried all the URLs that were under my picture. still said the same thing. sorry for not being so specific. i am new to the site and still finding my way around the site learning where i should upload certain posts so sorry for all the confusion
Tiffany, the avatar option wasn't working for me last week. I haven't tried to load a new one, but maybe that's still a glitch with the upgrade?

Tiffany - That pic is called your Avatar pic, just so you have the terminology And it does seem to be a glitch, as it doesn't seem to be working for a few other members as well. I think we're just going to have to wait till Kat says that everything is complete before being able to make that change
Kat - If you're checking in on the thread, the problem seems to be occurring when members are using the options that say:
You may upload a new custom image using the controls below.
Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website
Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer
Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 14.6 KB (whichever is smaller).
Either option gives an error stating "Unable to Save Image". Obviously I know you can't fix this right now, just letting you know where the error is happening. It is happening when using those options on Edit Avatar and Edit Signature

It's probably a permissions issue, but I'll have to wait until Scott (the tech) is done with the main upgrades before I go adjusting permissions.
