I have been on some form of birth control for the past 4 years from the patch to the ring to 5 different pills. At the moment I am taking Kelnor(generic for Demulin). This past month I completly skipped my period I had light spotting for a couple days but it was 4 days before my period was suppose to start. I have taking 2 pg tests and both are negative. Could the pill be causing me to miss my period? Or is it something else? I also have a mass near my left ovary that they plan to remove next month, but I have never completly skipped my period! Thank you for any advice or insight to the issue.
How long have you been on your current pill? My doctor has always said to give it up to 3 months to settle down and become routine. Of course if you really are worried in the mean time then you should get to your doctor asap.

It could also be that you lining has been thinned so much that you don't have enough to pass for a full blown bleed. But if you are worried I would definitely speak with your dr before surgery!
