Default Pill (Seasonale) Problems = Skin Problems...

Tomorrow, I'm calling my gynecologist because I'm having odd chest pain (feels muscular, but it's hard to tell, really) after being on Seasonale for about six weeks now. My fear is that he'll say that I should stop the Pill all together; the last time I did that (for about eight months), I started breaking out in cystic acne again. I'm scared that I won't be able to go back on the Pill, but I DO NOT want to go thru the horrors of cysts again.

Has anyone here had such a problem w/ Seasonale (or at least from a version of the Pill)?

Thanks,

Jenk

between the pill and spiro my face has almost entirely cleared up. Can you talk to your doctor about taking Spiro? I know that when I went off my spiro for two weeks, a little experiment I was conducting, my cystic acne came back

I feel your pain honey, it is the worst feeling to have those on your face, hell, anywhere really. I would definately talk to the doc, maybe they can change the pill, but I would be very concerned if youre having chest pains.

Good luck!

I was on seasonale for six months and I feel your pain. It seemed like it caused more problems. The breakthrough bleeding was a pain and after not having my period for a few months, when I did get it, I felt like my body was getting rid of three month's worth. I had horrible cramps, had to take days off of work. Also, my doctor told me seasonale is not the right choice for PCOS sufferers as we have a hard enough time getting regular already. It doesn't sound like this pill is right for you. Good luck at your doctor. Will be thinking of you.
