Default pimples along chin

i've never had any issues with acne before, but recently(about an month) i have had it all along my jaw and chin. i am not sure what is going on. i was getting a wax and my waxer said it was probably hormone related. i am frusterated with it, and i want it to go away!
any easy solutions for it to clear up?

I had that happen 'all of a sudden' a couple of months ago.

The culprit turned out to be the blanket on my bed (it was touching my chin every night)

I went out and bought some cheap cotton blankets at Target, and now I wash EVERYTHING on the bed every week.

Result? Acne gone within a couple of days.

thats the only place i ever broke out..and it didnt get bad until i was like 23ish. my derm said that people who have pcos tend to break out more on their chin/jaw line....so if its not allergies..its pcos related for sure. try natures cure..its a pill/creme combo that you can piick up in any drug store or walmart/target type places. it helped me for a long while...and its all natural i believe...

That's exactly where I tend to break out. I have pretty clear skin except for that area occasionally. I just drink a lot of water and try to keep my face clean and don't wear a lot of makeup.

my doctor told me that we have our sweat glands there, so women with pcos usually always have a acne problem along their jaw line. he said it is hard to make it go away unless your pcos is on the down low... he said having a baby will help a lot, but during your pregnancy your acne might get even worse.... so how fun will that be?!

I have the same problem and have had it for 6 years now .. i have tried several things and nothing has helped... i have just learned to live with it for now.. but there are times where it will clear up on its own for 3 days then come right back full force. I dont wear any make-up and i keep hands away from my face. drink lots of water and apply alcohol to my face 3 times a day its the only thing that i have had work the best for me!

Wash your blankets...just had to chime in with that again

Also, if you have synthetic blankets, consider switching to cotton, or something breatheable.

I haven't had any problems since I switched. Before that, it was awful!

I'm glad to have found this thread. I have something similar, but it's not all the time. Recently it's getting worse. I'm sure all these hormones are to blame. Has anyone had any luck with washes or creams?

I have the same issue, I get big break outs all along my jawline, I have not been eating very well or drinking enough water so I will give that a go.

I have the same problem but I find that it is managable when I was my pillowcases often and change out my towels frequently as well.

Thumbs up Leading With My Chin

Hey!

I get a lot of acne on my chin and mouth area...which is weird because until I started showing symptoms of PCOS and subsequently got DX, I don't remember that being a particular trouble area for me.

I had to change my makeup - from MAC to Bare Minerals - AND change my skincare routine. Now I am getting re-acquainted with Stridex and other products such as that.

The things that have worked for me are:
1. Switching makeups
2. Spot treatments from Origins
3. Proactive

Keep your chin up and keep trying to find something that will help!
