When you get your hands sorted out, get yourself a "natrual" keyboard. I use one, and i am now able to type a lot more often as well as alot more comfortably. They take a couple of days to get used to, but once you have you will never go back to the old style keyboard. I had a carpel tunnel operation about 9 years ago now, but they are starting to play up again. I had been working as a clothing machinst again, and that wasn't helping. I have changed jobs, and they do seem to be getting better. If you are offered the operation, get it done. I remember the morning after it had been done, i was lying on my bed, and my cat jumped up. I was patting her and the feeling of her fur on my fingertips was out of this world!
I got both hands done at once, so that recovery time would be shorter. My DH had to open and close all doors etc for me, as i couldn't. He opened the bathroom door for me, then decided to close it to give me some privacy. Something else took his attention, and he forgot all about me! I was stuck in the loo calling him for ages. Don't get caught like that! lmao |
