Jenn: Thank goodness. It's so hard dealing with the physically trauma on top of the emotional. Hang in there hun (*hugs*)

Steph and Jen - Thanks so much! I think I would have gone crazy yesterday if you two did not answer this thread so quickly. Now, after all of that yesterday, I had NO bleeding today!! Can you believe that? Now I feel guilty for calling so late to the OB's office. I guess that's why she sounded a little annoyed. Oh, well, better safe than sorry.

BTW - I do hope that I am on the way to healing physically. It's almost two weeks now.

Glad to hear you're better. Sounds like there was something in there that needed to come out and it passed. And your doctors, instead of being put out that you called, should have given you better instructions. I have to say that my doctors, while they can sometimes make you feel rushed in a regular exam, were nothing but great in a crisis. They never sounded put out when you called, and their advice was "if it seems odd, call." They also gave clear guidelines about things like bleeding (more than a pad an hour, etc)

They physical part of this should be over very soon. Now it's just on to the rest of you healing.

It's been almost two weeks for me too. I've only had brown discharge but last night passed another decent size clot. I'm so confused. I just want to move on!

I am soooo concerned about you my 2 sweet friends! I think of you everyday while I am at work, hating it, LOL. (j/k, sorta)

My RE's nurse said bleeding after a m/c or D and C could last for 4 weeks, luckily mine didnt but I just hope you are both ok.

Jenn_i am soooooooo glad that crazy bleeding stopped but I really wish they would see you and do the dildo cam u/s and make sure everything is looking good in there.

Rox-I was told by the RE nurse that after a m/c or D and C it is normal to get red, pink, brown, mucousy brown, and even yellow discharge. I think your brown is normal!!! HTH sweetie! ((((hugs))))

Flee - Thanks for your input. My OB is great, but everytime a "crisis" occurs, she's not on call. For example, when I went into labor with DD, another OB in the practice delivered me (ended up having a c-sections); my D&C, she wasn't on call for - I could have waited the extra day to get her, but it was the same OB who did my c-sect on call the very next day, and my OB advised me to get it done sooner than later - then this chick on Sunday night (she's the newest to the practice, and other women who go to the practice have complained about her bedside manner).

Kristina - HUGS!! I know exactly where you are. Monday, I stayed home again and NOTHING!! Not even enough blood to soak one pad. Today, I go to work and - 3am - I wake to a big clot almost soaking our bed! Then I changed pads about 5 times because I was soooo self conscious; then another gush of clot at 2pm; then another clot at 7pm. My mom may be on to something - she thinks that because I took aspirin on Sunday night to help with the pain, that may be causing this excess bleeding. I didn't even know it was aspirin, and that I shouldn't be taking it. Help please!!

But, it's not continuous bleeding like how it was on Sunday.
