Cysters! I need your help.. I was diagnosed with PCOS in April 08, i was not having regular periods for the first time in my life and finally blood work and an ultrasound confirmed that i had PCOS.. My RE perscribed me Metformin 2000 mg a day and Femcon FE.. I started taking the Metformin and started a special diet along with some total female pills (natural supplements instead of BC that were perscribed by my wellness doctor ).. Ever since i have been getting regular periods to the day or so WITHOUT the BC. I went into the doc to get my blood work done and my tests came out with high free testostrone but normal total testostorone and i remember the doc telling me that the BC would help regulate that....

Im afraid this BC will make me real sick and moody.. I have been on many different forums reading about it and i dont hear many positive things about Femcon Fe..And on top of that i feel that the birthcontrol will just be temporarly taking care of the problem and that as soon as im off of it the problem will arise once again. Im confused, nervous, and apprehensive about taking this pill.. Is anyone on it or has takin it before? Is there anything else anyone else has taken for high free testostorone? Please help...

Hi there i have been on femcon fe for 2 months and i have to be honest i can not wait to get off it. Im on to help regulate me and for the hormones so i can get prego. I havent had weight gain,or acne problems but i am VERY irritated ALL the time and tired more than i usually am which is alot. Oh and a lot of headaches but i am prone to them so that wasnt a big surprize. Now i will tell you this is just me and everyone reacts differently to BCPS. If you are that worried then maybe you shouldnt take it and try some natural supplements. Good luck and i hope i helped a little.

I've been on Femcon Fe for almost 3 months. I am coming off of them ASAP!!!!!!!! Horrible breakouts (I've never had a problem with acne) and break through bleeding.

Anyone with nausea on the Femcon? I just started it yesterday and am having terrible nausea today. Took it with food this morning hoping it would help, but no luck.

Diagnosed with PCOS in 2003.

Medications include Lamictal 100 mg, Lexapro 20 mg, and Trazadone 150 mg for Bipolar Disorder. Starting Femcon Sept '08. Gotta get this big ugly PCOS monster back under control!
