Default Please help ... I got my lab results
Hey cysters,

I just got my lab results from my RE's nurse. I was not pleased that they didn't check my fasting glucose for some odd reason. Even though the nurse said everything was within "normal" ranges, I'm concerned that my insulin is still a bit high. I had been fasting for about 15 hours by the time the bloodwork was taken, by the way.

She read the results off so quickly to me that I hardly had time to write them down. Could anyone explain these in more detail?

Insulin: 27
TSH: 2.1
Testosterone: 32
Angio(something).... Dione (not sure what this one is): 2.1
FSH: 4.5
LH: 10.4
Prolactin: 6.4
DHEAS: 140

I wish I could help you with this, but I'm not really sure what it all means either. You might have more luck on the ttc board or maybe someplace on the medication board? Sorry I couldn't help you!

I would call my Dr and ask to explain everything to me. The Dr that took my test didnt tell me anything so I took the results to another dr that explained what things should be and then what I was (come to find out the first dr did some test unneeded and then didnt do some that were needed). I dont remember what my numbers were I just know what my problem areas were or i would love to help you out. CALL YOUR DR...we pay to much to go to the dr for them to treat us like they dont have no time for us, get your moneys worth girl.
