Unhappy Please Help Im scared!

I am 20 years old, over weight, facial hair, just not feeling good about myself bottom line but I am determined to get through this, I am scared o take birth control, I am supposed to take YAZ, but I have read all the reviews good & bad and seems scary to me, Im more of a natural person I dont even like the thought of pills and I was wondering what happens to me once my doctor says I have been on birth control too long, I am really only taking them for the anti androgens, I am doing laser hair removal it has helped me alot but now my standards are so high I just want to be happy again But Im sorry for rambling I just want to know if the YAZ helps me with my facial hair, for however long I wil take it who knows a year or 2, what will I do after I stop taking YAZ and is it common that I will get all the facial hair back ... please help me im just scared i dont wanna feel ugly for tha rest of my life

The chances are that YAZ will help reduce your facial hair greatly, while you're taking it.

The short answer is yes. It's all a bit unpredictable, because it depends on whether and to what extent and how quickly your body starts producing estrogen of its own again after you stop the YAZ. With some women, their natural estrogen production increases immediately. With others much more slowly. With some it just doesn't restart. So who knows.

Nobody wants to feel ugly. You don't need to feel ugly. As far as facial hair is concerned, I shave every day with a men's-type electric razor -- and indeed my moustache and beard growth is as heavy as that of many men. But I don't feel ugly and I've no reason to think that most other people consider me ugly. I don't consider myself beautiful and I very much doubt whether anyone else would consider me that, but I think I'm reasonably attractive. And the people I meet in normal everyday life just don't know that I have facial hair.
