Question Please Help with Insurance......

Hello I have somewhat repetitive question on this website. I am trying to change my health insurance to something that can cover a little more than just diagnostics. I currently live in San Diego Ca, and have no idea what options are there for me and the ones that I have seen are only to diagnose the illness (which of course we already know what it is) The reason I'm asking is because my doctor just recently told me that I might have to start a clomid iui treatment and unfortunately mu current insurance doesn't cover it or at least help me with any of the costs. i would really appreciate if any one has any info on this. Thank You in Advance.

I get insurance through my employer, but I have HealthNet. It is an HMO, but I've never had any problems with them. I think they are some of the best health insurance I've had thus far. They cover 50% of infertility services. If you go to healthnet.com you can see their plans and what they cover! HTH

Default Re;Please Help with Insurance

Hi friend

I have seen your problem and I would like to inform you that about my own opinion. My husband and I are independent contractors so we have to pay for our own Health Insurance. It is Humana PPO by the way. We just had our second round of shots for our son and basically they are telling us that we owe as we only had $300 towards shots in a year so that was used up when we went for the first round. This seems crazy to me and way too much money going out. I really dont want a response from someone saying we should have done our research as I know that and am feeling pretty silly right now. BUT does anyone have a recommendation on cheaper, better coverage as my huband is cancelling this policy tomorrow he is so frustrated. Also after I had my son, I cancelled my maternity waiver so now even if I do get pregnant, Humana will not cover me. Please help as I am fit to blow!!!
