Hi everyone,

I just moved to Philly and I can't find a good dermatologist/plastic surgeon to perform laser hair removal. In looking for other types of doctors, its easy to go up to people in the neighborhood and say, "so do you have a good general practititioner but its quite a bit more awkward to say, "gee you're looking a little less hairy lately, where did you get laser?"

I tried just calling up random doctors but I want to know that the person I go to is sensitive to issues of PCOs. I have a lot of insecurities surrounding my excess hair and I really need someone sensitive and patient to answer all my questions and address my concerns.

If you don't know of any good doctors, perhaps you can suggest some resources that might lead me to someone good. I'm recently diagnosed so I don't really know much about PCOs related resources.

I have been to Sona in King of Prussia with a friend....he had all of the hair on his back removed, and just raves about the place! Not sure what you are looking for...but it might be worth a call?
