have any of you bought hpts from early pregnancy tests.com? i purchased the test strips, not the midstream ones. well i have taken probably 6 of them in the last 2 months and never seen anything but the control line.
this morning i took another one and a second line appeared, but it's under the plasticy part.
where in the heck is the hcg line supposed to show up? i've gone on the website and found nothing to help me.
i don't want to get excited if i'm reading it wrong.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!
these are the little skinny test strips that have blue on the handle and a line that says max on the other end.

At this point I would go and get a Clear Blue (not the digital one though) or First Response test. I'm not sure how to help you with your question though. I hope it is a bfp and you will get your confirmation soon! I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you! Best of luck! Please keep us posted.

thank you guys. it is terribly frustrating. i looked on the package and it only has a drawing of the test- obviously not drawn to scale, which is retarded!!! the only info i got from it was that the max line, the pregnant line and the control line were evenly spaced. that is how my test looks. but if the picture is not really accurate and the hcg line is supposed to appear up near the control line, (making the 3 NOT evenly spaced) then i'm NOT pregnant.
i was dumb and got rid of my pee in all my craziness. i should have kept it and tested again.
the line is just as thick as the control line- so i don't know. it also appeared IMMEDIATELY while i was holding the tip in the urine.
friday i got a bfn, but then had some cramping and when i wiped i got a little brownish nastiness on my tp. thought af was starting. maybe implantation???
oh, i hate this. if that picture is not accurate, i will have a major complaint for that company!!! i shouldn't have to wonder and guess!!!
thanks girls for your help, though. this is a time when your input is invaluable.

it sounds like the same tost from the dollar store. You can go to peeonastick.com and see examples.
I sure hope you are! But, if I am understanding your description I think the line is in the wrong spot. It could be just an exception with that test. check out the dollar store tests and post to us again

Jen~ I could not help but to get excited for you as soon as I read your post. I am praying for you girl, lord let this be. Go out and get a clear blue or something. I tested 15 dpo with a equate brand test and got a fainter than faint bfp (till this day I think it was a evap line), that same night I tested with a clear blue easy digital and got a pregnant and my hormone at that point was only a 8.9. So it detected that little of the hormone in my urine. Also an ept digital worked for me.

There should be 2mm of white space between the lines. Each line is 1mm thick so there are 4mm from the outside edge of one line to the outside edge of the other. Which is not to say you couldn't have a defective test...

ok, you guys were right. the line i saw in the plastic went away. now that i'm looking in the right spot, i've taken 3 more and all have a very faint second line!!!
even dh can see them!!!
i feel stupid for looking at the wrong place, but now i know.
i bought ept that i will take tomorrow with fmu.
