PCOS has RUINED my life..

I've been on dianette for 3 yrs for my pcos. My periods are regular. And my symptoms were under control. I thought everything was going great, but about 2 months ago, i started to deveop these strange symptoms. I'm tired all of the time. I have strong Pms constantly for that last 2 months, I cant even function in my daily life, I've lost my job due to this. My breasts are extremely sore. And when I mean sore, I mean I cant even turn my side when I'm sleeping without the sensitivity getting to me. My hairs falling out. I have this huge bald spot at the crown of my head. My face is full of acne. Something I never had. I'm very moody. When I'm watching tv, I'll just start to tear up for no reason! I'm soo depressed. I've had thoughts of suicide. I dont know what to do. I'm 22 yrs old. My specialist appointment is in Nov. But I dont think I can wait till then. I was thinking of going to the emerg, the symptoms are soo bad. Please Please Please, someone help me. Give me some advice. I really need some support.
Thanks,
Mushylove

Have you had your thyroid tested? It is common in women w/PCOS and would definitely make you tired.

Do you take any vitamins? I would really suggest a good multi vit and some really good vit B. PCOS bodies often lack (in a serious way) vit B. Should help with the depression and tiredness too. I have seasonal depression and about this time of year I usually buy sublingual vit B (B12 is the one that helps energy...I think) Go to the health food store or herbal shop and have them help you find some good vits. Maybe it will help until you can get into the dr. (((HUGS)))

I use a product called zipfizz. It is a multi vitamin mix that you add to your bottle water. You can buy at costco and sam's club. It contain 2500 mcg of B12 and I have been using it for over 2 years.. it helped be sooo much with energy levels. Since the b12 is in your water the take up is so much faster. I take 1500 mg of met xr. I also follow a high protein diet and eat 4 bananas every day. HTH. BTW: When I added the zipfizz It helped be lose 35 lbs... I was 170lbs and now I'm 135lbs.
