MIL has been having some problems lately and the doctors think she has cancer and needs a full hysterectomy. They also think she needs a pacemaker. She just went through gastric bypass and lost a lot of weight and was thinking her health was improving. Thank you for your prayers.

Thank you so much for your prayers and concern. I'm sorry I've been lax about updating. DH talked to his Mom and she is going to wear a heart monitor and probably have to have a pacemaker put in. The tests came back no cancer, but fibroids, so she is leaning toward the surgery anyway. The docs were almost 100% positive it would be cancer so they were probably pretty shocked it wasn't. She has to go back and get a biopsy done because they found an irregularity on her mammogram recently. She said she feels like she is falling apart. Thanks so much for thinking of my family

You are a very supportive cyster and have said many prayers for me and my family, this is the least I could do.

I am sorry that she has fibroids and will still need surgery, but it is best to get it them out. I know about the falling apart feeling myself.

The docs are now saying she doesn't have uterine or breast cancer or a heart condition, but does have cysts on her thyroid. She is having a hyster today and hopefully will recover quickly.
