Please pray for us, Dh just lost his job

Cole lost his job today. They gave him a choice to resign and he did. Now he is unable to get unemployment. We are in way over our heads financially. I cannot support us both on what I make. We have decided to take our new pick up in Saturday and turn it in. We don't know what else to do.

Please pray for me. I do not do well with change and am rather a nervous person at times anyways. I really need a touch of God's hand right now.

Heavenly Father,

I come to you this evening to ask a special prayer for my sister Laurel. Lord God, You know how faithful she's been and what a light she's been in my life alone!! I ask for you hand to be upon her and DH's life. I ask that you pull them out of the pit their in and show them direction like you did with my DH and I. Lord, I know your power through my own life and I just ask for Victory over this situation. I ask for many blessings to be poured over this couple in the name of Your son Jesus Christ! I pray that you would give them both peace of mind and that they would enable themselves to Praise you through these circumstances to come out on top. Father I remember what these times were like so I just thank you for them! When you close a door, You ALWAYS open a window.....I ask that you would open MANY windows for them! I ask that DH would find a job soon and that they both would have a testimony to help others through the same situation. THank you Father for my friendship with Larel...she is such a light in my eyes.....She shows me the meaning of True Christianity...faithful and true. Put your hand upon their lives father and bless their lives abundantely...In Jesus Mighty Name I pray...AMEN!

Laurel, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dh's job. I will be praying for you and dh. I just know the Lord has a plan for you. I know your faith is strong, and He will lead and guide you to the right thing. Please let us know what is happening, and I pray your dh will find a job soon. God bless,

I too had resigned from my job, yet I did receive unemployment because of the circumstances in which I had to leave. The unemployment deputy did an investigation and determined that that my leaving was necessary. So I would say to file for it anyway and of course-pray. My unemployment ends this month and I made a decision to stay home with my children, so financially speaking, we will be strapped- but you know what, I am going to put childlike trust in my Heavenly Father again. He's going to take care of us- his children. Remember when David said, He has never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Let's hold onto that!

Sending prayers for you and your DH for God's love and guidance as he leads you both towards what he has planned for you. I pray that your DH will be lead to meaningful employment so that the two of you can go on with your lives. Ask God for strength, you know he's got plenty to spare

Thank you very much. I know that the upcoming weeks are going to be a trying time. We are responsible for this financial mess, and we now have to face the decisions we made that were not in God's will for us. We are going to be relying on God more now for answers in the future. We will be praying that they will be wise ones, too.

Cole is going on a interview on Monday for a part time security job position on Monday. He is also pushing a new business called Zingback, its like a answering service, and if it takes off we will do well. He has spent a lot of time in prayer over the Zingback thing and feels that he is being led to pursue this business.

He is going in for surgery tonight to have the kidney stone removed. He wanted to have it taken care of while he still had insurance. So, his surgery is at 9:00 p.m.

Again, thank you for your prayers.

We went down a road that God wasn't directing us ...financially speaking...and God has done wonders for us now......Its taken hard work...but we're making it...so don't fall short of your faith!! Keep on keeping on!!

What a roller coaster this has been! It has been two weeks now! So far, Cole has lost his job, had surgery, will start a new job Thursday making 1/2 of what he did before. I have found out that my job is on the line, the school is going year round and now I have to find a new job. I have an offer for one that will make less money and less hours. I was 12 days late for my cycle and now it is is so horrible, I am going through a napkin every 2 hours. We can't get the loan to bail us out and we don't feel that filing bankruptcy is the spiritually correct thing for us to do. We can't afford to pay our bills. They repossessed (voluntarily) our new truck. My truck that is 11 years old today broke down yesterday and it was our only mode of transportation.

But, God is good and we keep thanking Him for the trials. He will get us through (and hopefully before I have a nervous breakdown). I am glad that God did not answer our prayer for us to have a baby right now because the stress would be horrible, and how on earth would we pay for it all? I love the quote from Mother Theresa about how God will never give you more than you can handle, I just wish he didn't trust me so much.

Please keep praying for me and my husband. We truly need prayers because that is our only lifeline.

I am keeping you in my prayers still!! I'm wondering what special direction God has you going in?? Sounds to me like even though you'll be taking a job paying less, God will get you through.....somewhere you have a ministry and God is trying to get your attention. Continue to pray for His direction and ask for open ears, open heart, and open eyes....as sometimes he's directing us in the opposite direction "We" want to go.....Is there some gift that the both of you have been overlooking that God is trying to get your attention to??

I'm blessed to know that something Good is coming of this...though I know its scarey for the both of you. Hallelujah! Keep praising Him through your circumstances hunny, cause you have a big blessing coming your way!! Amen for that!!
