Peyton's Momma

She was diagnosed with lung cancer on Tuesday. So far, we only know that it's in her left lung, and she had another test done yesterday to see if it was also in her right lung.

If it is only in her left one, the doctor says she has a really good chance at recovery. They'll just cut out the portion of the lung with the cancer. But, if it has spread into both lungs, then they have to discuss her options.

She's only 54 years old.

I don't know what to do with myself. Dh and I finally got on the road to TTC, and stress is the last thing I need. I think that if this cycle of clomid doesn't work, we'll take a break until she's better.

My thoughts are really with you, it must be a very tough time, I can't imagaine It is so unfair, it's such a young age and just when you are ttc as well. I really hope you get the news you want, my prayers are with you all. x

I'm so sorry I know what it is like to dealing with cancer. I've lost so many loved ones because of the horrible desiese but they are with the Lord now and I'm gald they aren't suffering. I pray that the cancer doesn't spread and for you having to deal with it... my thoughts are with you *hugs*

Thanks you all so much for your prayers and support. I just talked to my mother, and she got her test results back - it turns out the cancer is only in one lung, not both as suspected by the doctor. She's got one final test on Wednesday that will be able to tell for sure that it's only in one lung. So, if it's only in one, they will cut out that portion of the lung and send her through a few rounds of chemo just to be on the safe side.

Again, thank you so much. I don't know what I'd do without my cysters!
