Hi everyone,
to make a long story short, back in January, my mom went to the Dr and they did an x-ray and found a spot on her lung. They didnt know what it was and wanted her to come back for more x-rays on the 21st of may (today). She won't know anything probably until the end of the week, but last time, they didnt make it sound too good My mom is so afriad she has lung cancer, and i'm afraid too. Mom is my best friend, I pray that I don't have to let go anytime soon. I'm expecting a baby in November, and ofcourse, I want it to know the most wonderful woman in my life, but im so afraid that something bad is going to come of these xrays. I know if it's her time then theres nothing to stop it, but I just cant imagine my life without my mom. And I dont want her to have to live with cancer, she could never have someone to wait on her hand and foot, she's too independent. My dad doesnt know what to think, he's scared too. 40 years of marriage and thoughts like this make him weak. My poor husband, I have just yelled at him so much tonight, and I know I shouldnt, but I can't help it. Would you please say a prayer for my mom to be strong and healthy? I thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance.

Lots of prayers going up for your whole family, including that little one you are carrying.
I hope your mom hears something good from her docs.

I will pray for your mom and your family. Just a little note: My mom had lung cancer and had surgery to remove 1/4 of her lung...she also went through radiation for what seemed like a long time. That was 12 and a half years ago.....my mom just celebrated her 62nd birthday!!! So...don't feel like it is hopeless. The Doctor told my mom that most of her overcoming the cancer was because she is such a strong person and had set out to beat the cancer from the beginning. I am sure your mom will be as lucky and as blessed as mine.
Prayers being said in Cincinnati, Ohio for your Mom. May God Bless her with good health.

Isaiah 43:5
[color=crimson]Do not be afraid, for I am with you./COLOR]
41:13
For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
It's not easy wondering the "What If's" It's our flesh that see's the situation and can't look past our own understanding. We see these things as huge and almost un-curable, but with Faith in Jesus Christ, they are curable. He tells us not to worry, that He will help us. He will not fail us. So don't be afraid any longer, "Be still and know that He is God" Psalm 46 tells us.
Heavenly Father, I take the time right now to pray for Mary Ann and her lovely mother. Lord, I pray for peace in their hearts. That they may know your strength and power and worry not. Rather, give you the burdens of their hearts. Lord I pray for VICTORY in their lives, that they and the doctors would see miracles happen and may give you the glory. That Mary Anns mothers testimony would be used in order to help others in the same situation. Lord I pray all these in Jesus name....AMEN

Just let your mother know that she is being prayed for and that God loves her so much! The power of prayer is so great around her that she will feel so calm and peaceful through this trying time. I continue to pray for VICTORY over this situation in Jesus Name, I pray that those around her would see her willingness to press on and make it through, that her love for God will surpass all.......In Jesus Name...AMEN!
Mary Ann, I just got this feeling that I need to have you remind your mother of what happened when Peter looked back while walking on the water...........when His faith was tested he doubted and he started to sink Mat14:22-33 Remind your mother to keep her eyes on God and not to look at the circumstances......for even though Peter started to doubt, Jesus stilled got him safely to the boat.
Keeping praying and pressing through it, when and if she doesn't think she can take anymore, you start to pray for her, get prayer warriers envolved.......one of my favorite songs is called " In Jesus Name We Press On". Well, in the name Of Jesus all envolved in this situation will help your mother and yourself to press on!
