Unhappy Please Some Insight I'm So Confused :(

HELLO MY CYSTERS, I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD GET SOME INSIGHT, I WAS DX WITH PCOS ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO. PLS. READ MY VERY LONG END SIGNATURE TO GET AN IDEA OF WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING, ANYWAY, MY RE GAVE ME MET. AND I STARTED IT TWO WEEKS AGO. SO FAR, ONLY A LITTLE DIARREAH, I HAVE BEEN NAUTIOUS AT TIMES AND MAYBE HAD TWO OR THREE NIGHTS OF HORRIBLE HEADACHE!! WELL, I WAS EXPECTING MY AF 1/9TH, AND ON 1/7 I BEGAN SPOTTING, YESTURDAY 1/9- VERY VERY LITTLE SPOTTING EVEN SEEMED LIKE A VERY LIGHT BROWN, AND TODAY PRACTICALLY GONE! NO AF , I WAS SO HAPPY, I HAVE DONE TWO PREG. TESTS SINCE FRIDAY, AND THEY WERE NEGATIVE. COULD IT BE THAT THE MET HAS THROWN MY CYCLE OFF BALANCE? I WAS ACTUALLY QUITE OK, AT 35 DAY CYCLES BUT HADN'T MISSED AN AF SINCE AUGUST , NOW THIS HAPPENS. I HAVE MADE AN APT. WITH A NEW RE TOMORROW, THIS RECENT ONE, THE ONE THAT GAVE ME MET, JUST WASTED MY TIME, (WITH THE EXCEPTION THAT HE GAVE ME MET.) BUT HE GAVE IT TO ME, PRESCRIBED IT FOR 12 MONTHS, AND SENT ME ON MY WAY, SAID I DIDNT' NEED CLOMID OR ANYTHING ELSE, AND SAID THERE WAS NO NEED FOR ANY OTHER TESTING, I ASKED ABOUT LIVER/KIDNEY TESTS, HE SAID "NO" I DIDN'T NEED IT . I AM SO FRUSTRATED AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOIGN ON NOW WITH THIS "SPOTTING" AND NO AF NOW. SORRY TO SOUND SO NEGATIVE .

Hi Evie,

I am sorry that things seem so confusing right now. It is possible that Met has made your cycles wacky and has thrown it off. Be patient with it as it may take up to 6 months before you see its full effect.

Also, I read your signature and I am sorry that you have had so many losses. It is important that you find a doctor who is willing to heed your fears and one that you trust completely.

I wish you the very best and I hope that things work out for you very soon.

Evie, I don't know what's going on with your cycle. It took a while for met to regulate my cycles. Best thing to do is make a list of ?'s for the doc and get them answered!!!!!!
I'm glad you are seeing a new RE. If you are on met, You need to have liver and kidney function tests done, as met can affect these.
I hope you find a good re this time.
Glad to see you here again!!
So sorry about your losses.
Pam
