Question Pls Leave Opinion it's Needed

Hello,

I have another question about met. Has anyone had the reverse effect from Met? Instead of getting your period it makes you not have it? I have been on Met and went the longest time without AF, the doc put me on meds for one week to start AF. After taking this med about 1 day later I forgot to take my Met all day and the next day and what do you know I started. Now I know this could be the 1 week pill the doc had me on but the weird thing is I started taking met again and now after having AF for 2 days and having it pretty bad today (sorry TMI) It's completly gone tonight. There's no sign I even had one. I'm know wondering if it's the Met. Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure about it because I'm on the pill as well as the met. I know the pill makes my period much shorter, sometimes only 1 day. Hope someone else has some answers for you. All else fails, give your dr. a call.

Met didnt' help me have a period at all. Come to think about it....Met didn't do anything for me.

Probably wouldn't hurt to give your Dr. a call.
hugs

I have to agree with thh other ladies perhaps it would be best to call the dr.

But for me the met did not have that effect on me. It helped me get AF for like 2 months but then it stopped again. Wish I could help you more.

Met helped to jump start my periods but they didn't become regular until I really got into exercise and eating better. I would go in to the doctor and explain your concerns. good luck

Same as Br@ndy: My periods were still wacky until I got my diet and exercise consistent. When I started eating to control my insulin, it was like a new drug and my labs were normalized within 6 months or so.

Good luck!

When I was on met 1500mg it did make af more regular, but with in four months of being on it I became pregnant. After I had dd I actually weighed 20 lbs less than when I got pregnant, so my symptoms were gone and af has been regular. Since I quit breastfeeding I've gained all the weight back and with in the past month all of my symptoms are back, waiting to see if af will show or not. Before I went on met I only had af 2-3 times about 4 years. I hope this helps. I was actually only on met for the 4 months before I got pg. I am going to make an appt with endo, so I'm not sure if I will end up back on met or not.
