Default Plucking

My facial hair growth has rocketed out of control in the last 18 months so that shaving is no longer an effective option. I got so desperate I went to my doctor who wasn't any help at all as I was trying to get pregnant (I don't know why I even bothered trying as I know from experience that all they can offer me is some pill that 'might' start to work after taking it for 6 months!!!), I wonder if she's even heard of Vaniqua cream(or whatever it is called that people are talking about on here - can you get it in the UK on NHS?).

I went to my local beauty salon who suggested I let it grow and then have it waxed off. It was reasonably priced but the growing it out was absolute agony. I felt so gross and didn't want to face people. The waxing sort of worked for a few days as long as I plucked those she missed or that grew back fast and I continued it for about 6 months then circumstances got so I couldn't cope with it anymore, my life was no longer 'under control and predictable' and I just started plucking daily.

I have been doing this for 6 months or so now and find it works but still leaves redness and sore-looking (where it would have been shadow) rashes etc and spots when they start ingrowing. Also it is incredibly dry where I pluck.

Does anyone have any good moisturiser they can recommend to help with this that won't irritate it more? And also what about some sort of facial scrub to get rid of the dry skin?

Aveeno facial moisturizer comes in a kind that slows down the growth of facial hair, I know its in a tan and light blue bottle. I use Jergens naturally smooth for slower hair growth on my legs and will also use it on my face after I shave, after a while you notice a difference. I do know that plucking and waxing makes your hair come in thicker and darker..so I just shave mine although its a pain in the butt.
