Default PLus size maternity clothes shop or website??

HI ladies...I am wondering if anyone knows of any good maternity clothes shops/websites...I live in Newcastle NSW. I am needing a place that deals with "plus size" clothing, as I am far from a skinny minnie

The thought of not having anything to wear come the later stage of my pregnancy is scaring me to death and with twins, I am worried I will be even bigger!! So far i have lost a few kgs, but I'm sure that will change now that my m/s is starting to ease up a little..

Anyway, thanks in advance for any info!! I appreciate it greatly! Take Care

Hi Deb!!!
Congrats on the TWINS!!!! How exciting!!
I bought most of my maternity clothes from Target when I was pg with ds. They go up to size 18. There is also this great website http://www.maternitywear.com.au/ which has some plus-sized maternity stuff for a reasonable price.
The plus-sized maternity wear market is SADLY lacking.....good luck with your search - I hope you find some clothes soon!!!!

I got all of my plus size maternity from Motherhood Maternity. They have good prices, just remember to order you regular size, as they make allowances for the tummy.

I bought most of my maternity tops from www.gapmaternity.com . THey had some really cute stuff up xxl. I was surprised. I still enjoy many of those tops now. I bought my pants at target. I was about a size 22 when I got pregnant, but lost some weight. My very favorite top I picked up at Walmart, but their selection stinks. They only have one rack and most of them only go to large.

Debbie - Have you checked out ebay? There are some suppliers on there that make some really cute stuff from scratch - size 8 - 26. You let them know your size when you order. Just be careful when ordering 'non stretch' stuff - I order a really nice top in my normal size, no stretch in the fabric and it sometimes feels a tiny bit too tight in the arms.

There are also other 'plus sized' chicks that sell their stuff second hand. I just picked up some really nice stuff for not even a third of what you would pay retail. And maximum amount of time it would have been worn is 6 months - even less if you take into account season changes.

Depending on how long you can hold out and what size you are, I will be selling a lot of my stuff on there soon!
Anyway, good luck!!

Brooke
