i don't know if its only in canada but for work clothes Nygard. i'm just starting to put together a work wardrobe and i got 2 pairs of dress pants, a linnen dress, a beautiful velvet embroidered knee legnth coat, a cardigan, a henley tshirt, and a raspberry ruffled short sleeved sweater all for $250 canadian. it was ALL majorly on sale. the original price on one of the tops alone was $78. i saved almost $600 off the original price.

i had gone to penningtons/addidtionelle looking for clothes and NONE of the pants fit me. even size 26 and i'm a 22. at Nygard i was wearing 20/22 and they wernt old lady elastic pants. i hate penningtons and additionelle. they are rip offs.

I just check out that Torrid site. Thankyou for posting it Sari. There is some fabulous stuff in there.

On the subject of PS clothing. Does anyone have a DOTS in thier area? I find a lot of nice plus size stuff there. Also there is a place called RAINBOW where I have found some cute clothes there.

I would like to add that Wal-Mart has the ugliest plus size clothes. Its like they think that because we are overweight we want to dress like old ladies lol.

For women in the GTA ( Ontario, Canada) there is a new store I've come across. Clothes look great, prices are very good ( better then Pennintons)and they just got Baby Phat line in. Havent been as yet, but sending my mom to get the full details.

The store Ricki's goes up to size 18 I think. They have really nice empire waist topes, and majority of my clothes I buy there.

And I think it's jcpenny or penngingtons, but they have a branch off their store called MXM I think or something similar to that. But the clothes are a little out of my price range.
