CJ Banks...they are the plus size division of Christopher and Banks, and they have stores in most of the states. Don't think they have online shopping or a catalog though. I haven't found much there that fit my taste but I thought I'd suggest it in case someone else had good luck with it: http://www.cjbanks.com/

It seems with most sizes but I think especially with plus there is such a difference from line to line. If I remember correctly, lines like Kiyonna encourage you to buy a couple of sizes and return what doesn't fit. That can get costly, but you really only need to do that once.
I did a job for Nordstroms yesterday and they have some great things in. A beautiful purple jewel toned velvet jacke with wonderful accents. The best thing they have are jeans by the Nordstroms brand Caslon. They are lower rise (not super, just flattering) in the front, higher in the back. Great fabric and fit for I think $68. The clothing I was wearing didn't have tags but that is the price I heard. I am actually going to head to a store this weekend and pickup a couple of pairs. The jeans were that great!
With all the great clothing sites & info that has been given.. people better watch out as their are going to be alot of cysters walking around looking good
I tested those jeans last night LOL!!! NO embaressing situation. Just really comfy all the way around and they look good too!
I bought another pair of jeans that I loved from Torrid. I think the maker was Paris Blue. The only problem ones they were that super washed look so it only took a few more washing for the fabric to give way... while wearing them. I am not sure how many people saw my bare rump. I hope I was wearing cute panties!

For me Catherines is a bit conservative, so i use them also for career wear.

I agree about AVENUE. I really like them. Their jeans fit me good...big enough in the belly, yet tapered or flared just right. Also all their styles of pants (or trousers) come in SHORT, AVERAGE, or TALL, so you are bound to find some that fit your height. I am average and my sister takes tall and we always find great basic pieces there.
